What are the Team Leader responsibilities?
1) Serve as the SVCC representative for a one-time event. 2) Respond to and register volunteers for the volunteer event using an e-mail account provided by SVCC. 3) Answer questions of the SVCC volunteers as they contact you. 4) Confirm participation of the volunteers, provide directions and specific details such as appropriate dress, meeting time and location. 5) Close the event for sign ups when you have enough volunteers. 6) Arrive at the event early and stay for the entire duration of the event. 7) Greet and introduce SVCC volunteers to each other as they arrive and have nametags available. 8) Keep volunteers working as groups to give them an opportunity to socialize with each other. 9) Plan/attend an optional after event networking activity (dinner, lunch, etc.) following the event. 10) Complete a simple evaluation form of the event afterwards and forward to SVCC leadership.
