What are the two tutorials about?
Tutorial 1 is at the start of the placement, usually from 10am-12pm on the first Monday. It is co-run by a pair appropriately qualified local nurse and GP tutors. It explores some key factors affecting interprofessional (IP) collaboration, some practical placement information, preparation and interaction. It is intended to clarify the learning objectives, address any concerns or practical issues, do some problem/scenario-based role playing, and establish a positive, collaborative rapport between the students within each region.
