What are the usual issues in a contested divorce?
If the parties cannot agree, the usual issues which must be decided by the court are: Child Custody (generally sole or joint); Visitation or time sharing with the children; Child Support and health insurance for the children; Maintenance (Alimony) Division of marital property and marital debts; and Return of non-marital property.
