What are the usual punishments, i.e jail, probation etc. for a first time offense DUI in maryland?
My husband got his first DUI offense with a few other charges.. -2 DUI -1 DWI -2Negligent cruising -1 second degree assault on an officer. I’ll explain the situation. He was cruising home from the bar, had 5 beers 1 shot. Hit a patch of ice and ran onto and ice bank someone had cut him off. Apparently from what the officers said he denied medical attention. He told me the following day that he had not received some medical attention no ambulances at scene. But we are not trying to go against the officers, The thing is with the second degree assault the officer claimed he threw a shoe, he claims he slid it to the officer and it hit his foot, basically i don’t really want to get into to some of that. Months of me being pissed about it. But anyways, we hired a lawyer a former state senator with alot of pull in the court system has gotten many people out of cases. I want to know if there is some possibility of jail time or if it’s more likely to be a probation. Our first child is due Septe
