What are the vision standards corrected and uncorrected?
I’m checking on the vision standards….good question. As for the poly, I don’t think it’s just a southern thing but more a department by department deal. I don’t know of any in our immediate area that do but in North Carolina where I lived/worked for years, many did. In reference to the visits for out-of-staters, we try to limit your visits to three visits. The first visit is your written test, physical agility test and board interview. Your next visit would be the chief’s interview and your last visit is the medical exam and psyc testing.
