But if you are in a restaurant with linen napkins and tablecloths, it’s safe to assume that using fingers to eat is probably not the way to go. The exceptions would be things like burgers, Lobster, pizza….things that are traditionally eaten with your hands. BUT, you CAN eat them with a knife and fork also. There’s nothing wrong with that. Anything cooked on a stick SHOULD be removed, all at once, and put on a plate. The stick is then set aside and the food is then eaten with a knife and fork. Eating off a stick is not only improper manners, it’s dangerous.
