Sam Perkins will be one of the three headliners inducted into the New York City basketball hall of fame this year. Rod Strickland and Kenny Anderson are the other two. Veteran college coach Pete Gillen will receive a coaches award, Bob McCullough will be recognized as a contributor to the game, and city hoops scholar Joe Goldstein will be honored with the trustees award.
