What benefit would I gain by using SystemVision?
SystemVision provides a very easy-to-use prototyping environment that includes SPICE, but also goes beyond it to include digital and mixed-signal circuits; thermal, mechanical and hydraulic systems; continuous and sampled-data control systems, and many other engineering disciplines. SystemVision provides easy access to the powerful mathematical modeling capability of VHDL-AMS, the industry standard Hardware Description Language (IEEE Std. 1076.1). Through VHDL-AMS, the user can directly define whatever new, arbitrary model behavior is desired, and then instantly include its effect in the design schematic and observe the overall performance changes.
