What causes dry skin under the eyes?
Dry skin under the eyes is usually caused by lack of moisture. I used to have that until I started using an oil based eye make-up remover (I prefer Maybelline). Plus, don’t rub your eyes or pick at the dry skin as that’ll only make it worse. Make sure you put on moisturizer every morning and night, but use ONLY a creme meant for the eyes around them. They are specifically designed for the eyes and should be used as such. Again, get an oil based one. If you’re willing to spend the money, Elizabeth Arden has some fantastic eye oils. As for make-up, again, use an oil based foundation around the eyes. DON’T use make-up that’s meant for oily skin as it’ll dry it out even more. Oh, and don’t expect results overnight. It’ll take some time before the dry skin is gone. Good luck!
