The Intel® 430HX and 430TX PCIsets support both embedded Pentium processors and embedded Pentium processors with MMX technology designs. Since the 82439HX System Controller’s host interface was not designed for 2.5V, special considerations must be taken with the low power processors. Interfacing the low-power embedded Pentium processor with MMX technology to the 82439HX system controller addresses these issues.
