• A: The Department provides 3 kinds of services: CSEL, Cornerstone Services, and Enhanced Basic Services. A cooperative consortium of faculty have built an experimental Research Network for those who want to manage their own computing services within a high-speed (1Gbps) network. All other services are considered to be custom services that must currently be purchased from ITS or an external consulting group.
