What Consideration is Dive Sports Providing Me In Return for Signing a Waiver?
There must be mutual consideration for any contract to be enforceable in the State of Alabama. Dive Sports makes the signing of a liability waiver a condition of participating in the scuba diving event with the Dive Sports group. The consideration you are getting is the RIGHT to participate in our event and the fair value of the services rendered for your money. This consideration has been judged to be sufficient to satisfy the “mutual benefit” requirement of the laws of Alabama.
