What constitutes a regional resource?
The regional nature of the resource is directly tied to the size and diversity of the user base from outside the host institution, without restrictive geographical boundaries. The onus is on the applicant to demonstrate to the MRS Selection Committee that the resource is needed and significantly used by a sufficiently large number of users (academic and non-academic) from outside the host institution.
