What contracts does the Office of Legal Affairs review?
The Office of Legal Affairs must review all contracts involving the university, regardless of amount, prior to signature by the University except (1) grants and research contracts, which are reviewed by the Office of Sponsored Programs and (2) Consulting Agreements using the standard Consulting Agreement form provided that there are no changes to the terms of the standard Consulting Agreement form and no additional terms are added. If there are any changes to the standard Consulting Agreement or additional terms, those changes must be reviewed by the Office of Legal Affairs prior to the Agreement being signed.
