What could be causing my irritated throat?
I don’t believe it’s cancer, but could be bronchitis (an infection in your lungs). I had the same problem: started as a cold then went to my chest, then my throat was irritated and a tickle in my throat with trying to cough and clear my phlegm. The doctor told me that the cold turned into bronchitis and I went through 2 rounds of antibiotics before I finally started feeling better. Bronchitis does not get better without antibiotics, so maybe you need a 2nd round of antibiotics and you’ll start to feel better. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.
