What could cause errors in test results?
It is important to follow the test procedure instructions to ensure accurate results. Additionally, improper collection or handling of the semen sample may cause errors. It is important that semen remains in the provided liquefaction cup for at least 15 minutes prior to testing. Otherwise, the semen sample may not drain through the filter. In some cases, semen samples may not drain properly, even though instructions have been followed. This condition is called high viscosity and should be discussed with your physician.
