There is no “textile industry”, but components such as (just my opinion) manufacturing commodities – India and China technical manufacturing – USA and Europe machinery manufacturing – Europe design – USA and Europe high end fabric – Europe nonwovens – USA carpet – USA geotextiles – USA medical textiles – USA and Europe polymer manufacture – Asia in general etc, etc If you go just by dollar amounts it would be USA, China and India. There are other ways to look at the industry not mentioned here.
