What crimes would disqualify me from being a police officer?
So, let me see…. You think you have ‘Grown-Up’ a little, do you? Well, we ALL hope so! ‘Peter H’ and ‘lalala’ have both given you some good advice! Let me just add my 2-cents worth! FIRST… I WOULD make some INQUIRIES at local Police Stations! FIND-OUT what their requirements ARE! And, find-out what their “NO-NO’s” are!!! You might ALSO want to check with the MILITARY, if your heart is set on being a Police Officer (the Military calls them MILITARY POLICE, SHORE PATROL, or whatever, depending on which branch you choose. Although, to be HONEST, MY understanding is that even the MILITARY is CHOOSEY about WHO THEY WANT!) SECOND… 19, or 20 y/o…? IF you had INSURANCE, the Insurance Companie(s) are NOT likely to just ‘FORGET’ about the ‘risk-factor’! And, if ‘the two instances’ went on your ‘license’, neither is the STATE where it is /was recorded! (They are ALL afraid of being SUED!)
