What did Alexander Hamilton do after the American Revolution?
After the American Revolution he became a lawyer – whereas it took the average person 3 years to learn everything to pass the bar, it took Hamilton 6 months. He then attended the Constitutional Convention while still running his law practice. Washington appointed him Treasury Secretary in 1789, and he held that office until 1795.
