The following text is taken directly from Cary Pierce himself . . . “After JACKOPIERCE’s breakup, I was completely burnt-out on playing and touring. For 3 months straight I avoided rock music. I didn’t go to the clubs or listen to rock radio. Instead, I immersed myself in my Mozart collection and found great jazz and blues on the radio. I wasn’t even sure I wanted to play music anymore. During our “Farewell Tour”, I lost 20 pounds, stopped drinking, and buried myself in motivational, educational, and spiritual books and tapes. I also got into the best shape I’ve ever been in my life. “While contemplating my future in the music scene, I did get to live out another lifelong dream.
