What did that snide comment about the affiliates mean?

A. Many affiliates of ABC are, to use a convenient term, evil. These are affiliates which do not show a minimum of two hours of WNN (only two hours is produced unless breaking news requires more). Others delay the show for their own purposes–running movies or rebroadcasting their local news (as ABC’s flagship station, WABC-TV/New York, does); running syndicated programs they are contractually obligated to air but do not run during the day (hence the sheer hatred many of the WNN mailing list’s members feel for otherwise inoffensive programs like the late “Mike And Maty”), or regular programming delayed by breaking news (which is forgivable, at least) or sports events (hence the sheer hatred many of the WNN mailing list’s members feel for “Monday Night Football”). Some affiliates have been reported to show as little as 25 minutes of WNN on given nights. Some particularly evil affiliates–they know who they are–show no WNN at all.
