What do “DND” and “DNT” stand for?
DND indicates the coupon states “Do Not Double” and DNT indicates the coupon states “Do Not Triple.” DND5 (or DNT5) indicates that the UPC code on the coupon begins with the numeral “5.” In this instance, even though the coupon states not to double or triple the coupon, most cash registers will automatically double or tripleit anyway. DND9 indicates that the UPC code on the coupon begins with the numeral “9” and most cash registersdefinitely WILL NOT double or triple the coupon.
