What do I do if i cannot login to my Studentmail account?
If you cannot login to your Studentmail account: • Clear Cache. • Internet Explorer. Go to Tools and click Internet Options. • Under the “general” tab, click “Delete Files” and then “Ok”. • Firefox. Go to Edit and click Preferences, Privacy, and then Cache. • Click “Clear”. You may need to restart your browser if you continue to have troubles. If you have another browser, please view the appropriate help documentation for that browser. • Set Proxy Configuration. • Internet Explorer. Go To Tools, click Internet Options, Connections, and then LAN Settings. Make sure ‘Automatically Detect Settings’ is NOT ticked. • Tick ‘Use Automatic Configuration Script’ and enter this address: http://proxy.newcastle.edu.au/proxy.pac. Make sure ‘Use a Proxy Server for your LAN’ is NOT ticked. Click OK. • Firefox. Go to Edit, click Preferences, General, Connection Settings, and then Select Automatic Configuration URL. • Enter http://proxy.newcastle.edu.au/proxy.pac and click OK. (in some versions of Fire
