What do the tags (Infected)/(Marksman) mean next to a subscribers name?

Since the moderator is unable to assign an actual trophy for your cases (see below) he’s started individually infecting users who drew his attention. If a survivor draws the moderator’s (a.k.a. Patient Zero’s) close attention by submitting a great link, comment, or contributing to the site itself, that person may get (Infected). In 2010 the moderator added the (Marksman) tag for a survivor whose insight seems to hit a subject right between the eyes. Sadly, there are no objective criteria applied to these tags. The Moderator applies them subjectively (and maybe capriciously), so don’t feel bad if you made a real zinger and haven’t been awarded a tag. It’s not you, it’s him.
