The iListen User’s Guide is a PDF document that is installed inside the Documentation folder, which is inside either the iListen folder (version 1.7.x) or the MacSpeech folder (versions 1.6.8 and earlier) on your hard drive. The User’s Guide and other helpful documents are installed at the same time when iListen is installed. You can open the User’s Guide by double-clicking it in the Finder, or, if you are using iListen 1.6.8 or later, it can be opened by selecting “iListen User Guide” from iListen’s Help menu. iListen also comes with a Command Reference Guide, a Tutorial, and a Training Guide. All of these can be opened from the Help menu in iListen as well. All of these documents can also be downloaded from our Support web site. [Back To Top] • What Does Continuous Speech Recognition Mean? “Continuous Speech Recognition” means the user can speak without pausing between words, and the software will use the context of what is said to help determine which words should be typed.
