What does a Chartered Physiotherapist do?
A. A ‘Chartered Physiotherapist’ is trained to assess and treat physical disorders resulting from injury or disease. They have developed observational and palpation skills throughout a three year degree and subsequent post-graduate experience. A Physiotherapist can diagnose certain injuries/conditions and advise on the best way to treat the dysfunction. This will usually involve some form of manual therapy and the prescription of a specified exercise programme.
