What does a flashed bios do?
To flash the bios is essential for running any type of backups, foreign and import games, or any homebrew applications and games. When the system boots up, it loads the new BIOS instead of the original system BIOS, allowing different modifications and disk reading to be allowed. If you want to get a hard drive installed, or play backups, or do anything besides play original copies of games originating in your country, then you must get your Bios flashed.
