WHAT DOES A GAME TESTER DO?
The video game industry is a multi-billion dollar industry. Companies like Microsoft, EA games and Sony create games and generate revenue with games generally liked by the public, which are innovative, creative, entertaining and bug free. Companies make sure that every game they publish will have these qualities in order for them to make the largest profits possible. So, before any game gets released to the general public they must test them first. This is where you come in and get paid to play games. Because these games will be sold to people like yourself, these companies need testers that can give a costumers point of view on the gaming experiance, ex. the level is far too difficult, what was the point of what that man just said?. While this is a very important aspect of the “game testers” job, your primery job as a game tester would be to make sure the game is bug free.
