The NIAF makes its determination of financial need based on the submission of your Student Aid Report (SAR) which is created after completing your Fee Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Information on completing a FAFSA form through the federal government can be found on their website: www.fafsa.ed.gov If you are claiming financial need on your NIAF Scholarship Application, the NIAF requires that you submit a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) to the NIAF by mail postmarked by March 6, 2009.
