What does combining actually do?
Well, the most obvious thing is that the animals take on the appearance of the two melded animals (take a look in the picture section). However, they also take on the attributes and special features of the animals. Melding any animal with a high percentage of cheetah is going to give you a speedy animal. Melding that cheetah with a chameleon could give you not only a speedy animal, but also the ability to hide and blend into your surroundings. But thats still not where it ends. This also brings about a combination of the AI for the animal. Combining a vulture with a wolf could give you flying creatures that hunts in packs.
