Cutting and Shearing are the two ways you can “Cut” hair. The difference primarily stems in the damage that is caused to the hair afterward. When hair is Sheared (sheared with traditional edges), the result is a very rough and damaged cut. Often this results in frizz, split ends, and other hair damage. When hair is Cut (EdgeDART Cutting edges), the end of the hair is left even, clean, and undamaged. This won’t lead to the undesired results as listed above from shearing.
