What does it cost to adopt a dog or cat from one of the six Los Angeles County Animal Shelters?
1) Answer: Adult dogs: From $54.06 to $69.06 depending on the size of the animal. This includes the initial vaccinations, spaying and neutering costs, a 7 day exchange and a free veterinary medical examination at a participating veterinary office. This fee does not include the dog licensing fee which is $10 to $15 (spayed or neutered dog rate) for dogs residing in areas serviced by the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care & Control.
