What does it take for a Computer Engineering Student to get a Computer Science minor?

0

A. A Computer Engineering student can get the CS minor without taking any additional classes. The CS minor requires a student take COS 220, COS 221, COS 230 or COS 250, and three additional COS courses at the 300 level or above. CEN majors already take COS 220, COS 221, COS 250, COS 420 and COS 431. If the CEN student takes at least one COS course at the 300 level or above as a technical elective for the CEN degree, then the CS minor is covered. Note that minors are not given automatically; you must inform the ECE department secretary of your intent to get one and fill out the required paperwork.
