What does key skills and a cover letter mean in a job application form?
Key skills – bullet point things such as ‘good communication skills’ , ‘highly motivated’ and ‘assertive’ at the top of your resume, or whatever things about you make you right for the job. A cover letter is a couple of paragraphs expressing your interest in the job, aimed at enticing you to read the cv – keep it concise ps dont slag this person off, its a perfectly valid question and not everybody gets taught this at school, I wasnt!! Took me years to learn about this and a good cv to a job application is what looks and style are to pulling in a club!
Key skills means what areas are you talented in that pertain to the position for which you’re applying and a cover letter is a letter to the employer or human resources manager explaining why you want the position and why you’re a good candidate for the position (relevant experience, what you have to offer the company, etc.).
