This type of insurance will allow you to visit doctors and facilities within a larger network of providers, and you do not have to be referred by a Primary Physician. PPO plans normally will have a deductible for in hospital stays, and co-insurance amounts for different services you receive. They tend to be more expensive because of the flexibility that they offer.
