What does SilverFast€™s €ÂAuto Frame Inset” do?

0

This is a virtual downscaling – or offset – of the scan frame which will apply on the image auto correction algorithms only. The amount of downscaling can be set by user (value in percent towards the centre of scan frame). This means if you set that value to 10%, SilverFast auto correction and SilverFast€™s automatic negative correction will take into consideration the image data inside the scan frame less an offset of 10%.
