What does the little red number mean in the upper left corner?
This is the number of pending uploads and downloads. Each time you change or add an item, or refresh a page, data is transferred to and from the Backpack servers. This number is simply how many items have yet to be sent. Until it’s zero (i.e. no more pending transactions), Satchel will not have all of your latest Backpack items or edits. If you’d like to turn this feature off, you can do so in ‘Settings’.
