What donations are tax-deductible?

0

Donations fall under special deductions and can be claimed if they are made to certain approved public benefit organisations, which include most welfare, education, healthcare and development, and land and housing organisations. Normal school fees do not qualify as a donation. The tax deduction is limited to 5% of taxable income, as determined before the deduction of medical expenses and donations.
