What dose downloading mean?
downloading just means that you instruct the computer to allow the information from the Internet to form a new programme in your computer, ie a games programme,music ,films etc all of which you can delete at a later date if you so wish, think of it a bit like buying a book to put on your bookshelf,you can access that book at any time and also throw it away when it becomes of little use, Your computer will tell you if the material you wish to download may contain material that may in some way harm your system,virus etc, but as long as you have a good security system set up you should be fine, the computer will come with built in security and can be enhanced by additional downloads either from the internet or from your local retailer ,ie Norton security for example
