What Drain Interval is recommended for SynLube Lube-4-Life ?
SynLube Lube-4-Life is designed for greatly extended drain intervals. Typical recommendation for private cars, vans and light trucks with Gasoline fuel is: 150,000 miles (250,000 km) or 15 years or 3,000 engine hours (which ever occurs first). Typical recommendation for Diesel powered vehicles is: 100,000 miles (150,000 km) or 10 years or 2,000 engine hours (which ever occurs first). However, oil drains should be determined based on your anticipated operating conditions, driving habits and other maintenance schedules in mind. Large, over-the-road trucks (class 8) may extend drain intervals based on predominantly driving highway miles, which are relatively easy on an engine, and using an approved SynLube Lube-4-Life Oil Analysis Program.
