Typical recommendation for private cars, vans and light trucks with Gasoline fuel is: 150,000 miles (250,000 km) or 15 years or 3,000 engine hours (which ever occurs first). Typical recommendation for Diesel powered vehicles is: 100,000 miles (150,000 km) or 10 years or 2,000 engine hours (which ever occurs first).
