For encoding MPEG-2 high-resolution videos, Konan supports various popular encoding systems such as Thomson GV Profile, Leitch, Avid that many broadcasting stations prefer. The following boards, which can be installed to PCs and workstations, are supported. Matrox Digisuite, DigiServer Optibase MovieMaker ViewCast Osprey Additional MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 encoding boards will be on Konan’s support list soon.
