The OCR engine will attempt to read files in TIFF, PDF, GIF, JPEG, BMP, PS, and PCL formats. It has been observed that BMP files are not as easily read as the other formats, so we suggest that people try avoiding sending documents to their eCabinets in that file format if there is a desire for accurate OCR processing.
