What foods are good for someone who has lost their taste due to chemotherapy?

I went through chemo (and radiation) and have been emotional support for many others and what I can say, won’t give you any absolute’s. It truly is different for everyone. Some people (like me) lose more of the sense of taste. Other’s have extreme mouth irratations. I couldn’t drink carbonated drinks, it hurt. Other’s can’t eat salty or spicy. Due to the nausea I felt, I basically tried to eat anything that was in anyway appealing. It’s hard to eat something when you are nauseated or can’t taste it, so I think that first step is trying to eat what sounds good at the moment. I was OK with Won Ton soup, but also ate Taco Bell! I enjoyed avacado’s, but couldn’t have thought of eating a bannana…. A lot of food’s gave me a metalic taste, but that wasn’t consistent either. So, the basic advice would be to eat whatever sounds good, and try lots of things. Also, I have heard that if you love something, such as chocolate, if it taste’s off, don’t eat it unless you want to destroy your love of
