I can’t really tell you what will happen on your first night or what to expect because all air cadet squadrons are different. I will describe a typical parade night for me. There are two different uniforms people are likely to be wearing either one of them. These are camoflage shirt and trousers, black boots or dark blue shirt, grey trousers and shiny shoes – both with a beret. First you may hang around and chat for about 10 mins then you will go on initial parade where you do the register and learn what you are going to be doing. This can be all sorts of things from lessons to field craft (pretend forces exercise) to marching to just having plain old fun. You would have a break halfway through for about 15 mins then either one go back to the same activity or do something completley different. Towards the end of the night you go on final parade and get a summary of what has been/will be going on and also be told boy important need to know info. But always always always, people will try
