The P-TRAK® ultrafine particle counter requires very clean isopropyl alcohol rated “reagent grade” or better. Reagent grade equates to 99.5% purity. The isopropyl alcohol that is typically available from retail outlets is not good enough. Purchase reagent grade alcohol from TSI or a local laboratory/chemical supplier.
