People constantly accept more & more things as “ok.” I’m not sure if your problem with same-sex marriage comes from a Christian background or somewhere else, but assuming Christian: keep in mind that allowing a legal marriage between to people of the same sex does not mean or imply that it’s a marriage in God’s eyes. A same-sex marriage would strictly be a legal document, and I’m guessing few if any gay couples even want to get married in a church (though I’m sure there are some out there).
