• We have introduced a new lab course, Pharmacology 358Y (check the online calendar or look for updates on the BMSc website). This is a full year lab course worth half a credit. This course, along with Pharm 3550b and 3560a, is required for the Honours Specialization in Pharm and Phys/Pharm and is a prerequisite for 400 level Pharm courses. • Registration in Pharm 3580y will require a term average of at least 75% on the prior year (i.e. an average of at least 75% on all course taken in the previous Fall/Winter academic session). • As of September 2007, registration in all 400-level Pharmacology courses will require completion of one or both of Pharm 3550a/b and 3560a/b, as well as Pharm 3580y. Q: I am going into fourth year, do I need to take 3580y in order to graduate? A: No. The new module requirements only apply to students entering into their third year. Q: I want to take the new lab half course, Pharm 3580y, but I didn’t get an average of 75% last year.
