All these comments informed the development of the draft Project Principles. The future of Callan Park is determined by the legislation that protects it: The Callan Park (Special Provisions) Act 2002. The five objectives of The Callan Park (Special Provisions) Act 2002 concern governance, public access to open space, active and passive recreation, heritage, and the allowable uses of buildings at Callan Park. The Stage 2 draft Project Principles are based on these objectives and community feedback to the Issues & Opportunities Map.
