What happens if a participant complains?
Participants have to be told in writing that if they remain dissatisfied after discussing their concerns with you and/or your supervisor, they can raise their concerns directly with the Ethics Committee by contacting the Secretary to the Ethics Committee at: psychethics@cardiff.ac.uk or at the School’s postal address. Complaints about ethical conduct will be considered as allegations of academic misconduct and will be addressed through Cardiff University’s procedures for dealing with such allegations.
