What happens if I am absent from work for a long period during my loan period, eg for maternity or sick leave?
A. As long as your salary continues to be paid, then your participation in the scheme will be unaffected by your absence, and payments will continue to be taken from your salary as normal. If your leave becomes unpaid, then you may keep the computer as you remain an employee, but you must contact the HCI team as soon as you know that this will occur to make alternative payment arrangements.
